Michelle is a pediatric occupational therapist and is a graduate of the University of Texas's Medical Branch/ Galveston's Masters of Occupational Therapy program class of 2012. She received her bachelors degree in Community, Health from Lamar University. She is the Director of Therapy Services at Avilo Pediatric Therapy. Her occupational therapy career began at Texas Children's Hospital where she provided occupational therapy services and intervention for children with feeding challenges, sensory processing disorders, muscle and bone disorders and behavioral disorders. Following her career at Texas Children's hospital she worked within the school district, in the home-health setting and currently consults with and works closely with Early Childhood Intervention Services in Houston and surrounding areas where she provides services for high risk infants.
Michelle is a board member for the Texas Occupational Therapy Association's and is the appointed Standards and Practice Chair, Is a board member for PIMA Medical Institute's Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Program and is a Texas Certified Trainer.
Michelle lives in Richmond, Texas with her husband and 2 daughters. In her free time, Michelle likes to cook, travel, volunteer, spend time with family and go jogging with friends.
Phallan is a certified occupational therapy assistant and graduated from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. She received her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and is currently pursuing a master's degree in English and Creative Writing. She received her associates degree in occupational therapy from Houston Community College. Phallan loves working with high risk infants and putting her passion for occupational therapy creatively into each session. Phallan lives in Cypress, Texas with her husband and 2 children. During her free time she like gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Rachel is a certified occupational therapy assistant and graduated from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas. Rachel is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Texas Occupational Therapy Association, the Down Syndrome Association of Houston and is collegiate guest speaker/lecturer. Rachel loves working with children with a variety of diagnoses and looks forward to bringing her creativity into each session . Rachel lives in Houston, Texas and in her free time she likes to workout, go to the beach, care for her dog named Astro and her cat named Cheetah and hang out with family and friends.
Osarume is a certified occupational therapy assistant and graduated from the University of Benin in Nigeria where she received her bachelors degree in English and Literature. Following graduation, she received her associates degree in occupational therapy from PIMA Medical Institute. Osarume brings a sweet and creative passion to the field which the children and families adore. Osarume lives in Sugarland, Texas with her husband and daughter and in her free time she likes to travel, read and spend time with her family.
Zehra is our wonderful Avilo Pediatric Therapy office manager who helps to run the daily operations of our office. She is always eager to help you answer any questions you may have in regards to your services. Zehra has a bachelors degrees in Business Administration and a master's degree in Project Management from Herriot Way University of Scotland in Dubai, U.A.E. Zehra lives in Richmond, Texas with her husband and 2 daughters. Zehra enjoys spending time with friends and family, planning events, working out, hanging out outdoors and crafting.
